Education news from Bristol

In this section, we provide a digest of the latest educational news in the Bristol, Bath and North-East Somerset area. We cover key topics, and pose crucial questions. Our popular ‘Ask The Expert’ feature gives answers and advice on the most relevant issues for education professionals.

We give a run down on the events and classes most relevant to teachers, and we feature interviews with key industry players.

Ask the Expert

As part of our newsletter, we answer key questions each term. From our first newsletter, you can find out: How do I demonstrate SMSC in an Ofsted lesson observation?

In our second newsletter we answered: My Year 3 Polish pupil is reluctant to share her Polish in the classroom. What can I do to encourage her?

In June 2014, ask an expert was about coping with a growing number of bi-lingual students,  included reports from our consultants about the Pupil Premium, and videos of our interviews with one of the Youth Mayors for Bristol, and a potential Harvard student.
